Here yesterday I published the beta for Maze game for Android.

And this page has intention to describe the development process, may be it will be useful for people, to not repeat my mistakes which I had too many.

I have chosen the Maze idea for the first game because of:

  • It’s simple and well documented
  • Can be evaluated to something more interesting, like dungeon generation
  • Obviously presentable with tile maps

As a one key feature was to choose a not-commercial for-linux-available game engine, it was chosen to use godot engine for that purpose.

During the work I was using:

I have plans to use lmms for making music and effects for the game, but absolutely don’t have time for doing that 🙁 so if you could help me with that it would be very appreciated.
